Betty L. Baszner, 59, of Millville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was born in Hammonton Hospital on July 30, 1964. She was raised in Parkertown and Dividing Creek, NJ and eventually called Millville her home. After graduating high school Betty started her career in healthcare at Rainbow Nursing Home, and later at the Vineland Developmental Center as a cottage supervisor. She truly loved her job, as Betty was a natural caregiver and helper. She was the person everyone could count on and would put everyone else before herself. She spent 25 dedicated years caring for her clients and a lifetime caring for everyone she loved. She loved all animals, especially her favorite pup Zeus.
Betty will be remembered for her baking skills, especially her Christmas cookies and, of course, her Famous Chocolate Cake! She loved just being with her family. Sitting on the porch and sipping on coffee, with a nice conversation was all she needed, this was her happy place.
Betty leaves behind her devoted husband and best friend, Joe, as well as her children, Tanya Wilson and her husband Whit, Amanda Feeley and her husband Jimmy. She was the proudest Meme're to the brightest light in her life, her loving granddaughter, Luna Aurora. She is predeceased by her mother, Betty Garrison Gaskill, and her sister Eve Gaskill and also her favorite Aunt Dorothy Gaskill, with whom shared a special relationship.
Survived by sister Laura Schweitzer (Andrew), Tammy Hoffman (David). Loving Aunt of Alona Hoffman, Ricky Schmitz, Quentin Schmitz, Andrew Schweitzer and David Hoffman, Jr. and also numerous great nephews and nieces.
