Douglas Morroni, age 57, of Dorchester, died peacefully on May 15, 2023 following a brief battle with Lung Cancer.
Doug is survived by his loving mother Irene Hawn and Stepfather William Hawn; his children Kevin Morroni (Kim), Jason Morroni (Liz), Nathan Morroni, & Cameron Morroni; grandchildren Jocelynn, Logan, & Willow. He is also survived by his brother Edward “Randy” Loper; step sisters Olivia Hawn & Beth Summers; Nephew Ryan Loper, step-niece Sherry Summers (who affectionately called him Brother Doug), and his lifelong friend Jim Wills.
Doug was predeceased by his father Peter Morroni; maternal grandparents John & Catherine Plummer; paternal grandparents John & Pearl Morroni. He was a Graduate of MSHS and a devoted Cowboys fan. Doug served in the US Army, stationed in Germany before his honorable discharge. Doug worked security for Trump Marina before working as a general contractor and business partner with his brother Randy.
Relatives & Friends are invited to join his family for a memorial service on June 16, 2023 at 1pm at the East Point Lighthouse, 10 Lighthouse Rd, Heislerville, NJ 08324.
