Jeannette P Ogborn

Jeannette Ogborn, age 87, of Millville, passed away at home on July 27, 2023. 

She was born on December 9, 1935. She is survived by her children Dawn Ubele, Constance Caraluzzo (Ken), Jean Caraluzzo, Jeannette Jannone (Robert), and Curtis F. Caraluzzo (Leann); her grandchildren Joanne, Patty, David Juliette, Tabitha, Eric, William, LeRoy, Paul, Jacob, Brianna, Charles, Lauren, and Mason; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her late husband Charles A. Ogborn; her sons David Ennis, and Michael Caraluzzo; and son in law Robert Ubele.

She is the matriarch of this family. She knows no true family before us. Raised in orphanages and foster homes until of legal age. She stayed strong through it all and created a family to call her own which grows tremendously with love, strong will, and stubbornness. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Great Great Grandmother. She has laughed and lived these Eighty seven years with dignity and grace. When asked at her 80th Birthday "What have you learned in the almost eighty years of life?" Her reply was " Enough to Forget!" Jeannette retired from Cumberland County Homemakers and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church in Millville. 

Relatives & friends are invited to visit with Jeanette’s family on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, 24 N. 2nd St., Millville, NJ 08332. Services will follow. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
