Margaret T. (Caignon) Reeves

Margaret T. Reeves, Age 67, of Clayton, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on June 7, 2023 at Inspira Medical Center, Mullica Hill. 

Margie was born in Millville to the late Lucien Caignon & Teresa Remmers Caignon. She is survived by her daughter Helen Beare and son Edgar “Jake” Reeves Jr.; Grandchildren Robert and Rebecca Beare; her siblings William Mulhern (Nancy), James Mulhern (Jean), Joseph Caignon (Sandy), Michelle Caignon, and Erik Caignon. She is also survived by her Brother-in-law Jerry Reeves and his wife Sadie; sister-in-law Mary Wood and her husband Jimmy, her companion John Gatto; former son-in-law Robert Beare; former sister-in-law Jennifer Caignon; and many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Edgar “Jake” Reeves, Sr. and her sister Irene Davis. 

Margie loved spending time with family especially when it involved Camping at Parvin State Park. She enjoyed bowling, going out on sailboats, attending musicals, and seeing live performances of her favorite Beatles cover Band, “Rain”. She was a very strong willed, Matriarch of the family and an avid reader.  

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 14th from 10:00-11:00AM at Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, 24 N. 2nd St., Millville, NJ 08332. Memorial service will begin at 11AM. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Guests that are planning to attend the services are asked to wear the color Blue to honor her favorite color.
