It is with much love and deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Christopher Lee Bowen, 45, of Millville, New Jersey, on February 8, 2021. Chris was born on December 25, 1975 to Kathy and Emery, and was truly a gift to all who knew him. He was extremely loving and compassionate, family-oriented with a strong faith, and loved to make everyone laugh. His memory will live forever in our aching hearts.
Chris is sadly missed by his son, Christopher Bowen Jr.; brothers, Rio Donnally and Travis Donnally; sisters, Nichole Bowen, Cheri’ Donnally, and Savannah Stewart; step-dad Tom Donnally; father, Emery Bowen; numerous nieces and nephews, and also many good friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen (Kiser-Stiles) Bowen.
Chris resided in South Carolina for almost two decades before returning home just this past year. Chris was a hard-working, self-employed contractor, who specialized in carpentry and building but enjoyed any project that involved working with his hands. He was also a tattoo artist who had a passion for drawing. His creativity showed in everything he worked on and he often used his artistic talents to create personal pieces for his family and friends. Some of his other hobbies included travelling, collecting, and camping, as he loved to be outdoors.
Services will be private due to current COVID restrictions, with a burial ceremony to follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the directions of Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home of Millville, NJ.
