Dudley “Dug” Bard, 80, of Vineland, passed away peacefully at the Inspira Medical Center after a brief illness on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Dug was born in Vineland and was a life-long resident.
Dug was a U.S. Marine serving during the Viet Nam War.
He retired as a card dealer for Caesars Casino in Atlantic City after many years of service.
Dug enjoyed woodworking, gardening and model train collecting. He also was an avid reader and a member of the Friends of the Vineland Library.
Dug is survived by 2 daughters: Teri Giordano (Brad) and Rebecca Bard; 3 sisters: Rose Layton (Owen), Helen Barker-Zerillo and Diane Arkainno; 3 grandchildren: Angelica Charriez, Cecilia Giordano and Theodore Giordano. Also many nieces and nephews.
Dug was pre-deceased by his parents: Murray and Belle; brother: Jack Arkainno; sister: Cynthia Powell.
